Got my flipper kit

I was looking for some pinball flipper kits for my old machine, and QuarterArcade had exactly what I needed. Placed the order, and it got here pretty fast, like 6 days to my place in Texas. Everything was packed well, and the parts felt solid. It was pretty easy to find what I needed on their site, too. Always a good experience when you're trying to fix up old arcade stuff.

Awesome new marquee graphics!

I just got new marquee graphics for my old arcade cabinet and they are fantastic! The colors are so vibrant, and it really brings the whole machine back to life. I was worried about the installation but they even included some clear instructions. Delivery was super quick too, got here in like five days. I'm so happy with how it looks now, it's seriously a game changer. Definitely shopping here again!

Reliable for arcade parts

I've bought from QuarterArcade.com a few times now for various projects, usually for arcade buttons or joysticks. This last order was for a couple of control panel overlays. Like before, the quality was consistent, and the colors were spot on with the originals. Shipping took about a week, which is what I usually expect, maybe a day or two longer this time to reach California, but no big deal. They always have a good selection, and I don't have to worry about getting duds. It's why I keep coming back when I need specific restoration parts.

What's the deal with their reproduction manuals? Are they any good?

P PaperPal 3 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
They're pretty decent. Not quite original paper feel, but totally readable and accurate.

Yeah, I got one for Galaga and it was fine.

If you want true original, you gotta hunt on eBay. Repros are for utility.

P PaperPal 3 weeks ago
True, but sometimes originals are impossible to find.

Pinball rubber kits - which ones are best from QuarterArcade?

P PinballPro 1 week ago ✓ Best Answer
I always go with the silicone ones if they have them for my machine. Last way longer.

F FlipperFanatic 1 week ago
Are they softer?

Silicone is the way to go for sure.

C ClassicPinner 1 week ago
Black rubber is classic, but it does get dirty fast.

Looking for a good starter PCB for a multi-game project. Any suggestions from QuarterArcade?

M MultiGameMike 1 month ago ✓ Best Answer
You probably want a Pandora's Box or something similar. Easy to set up.

Does anyone use their restoration bundle discount? Is it worth it?

Yep, I used it for my Pac-Man cab. Saved a decent amount on the cap kit, new power supply, and some t-molding.

Need new marquee graphics. Should I go with LED or traditional fluorescent?

M ModernModder 2 weeks ago ✓ Best Answer
LED for sure. Less heat, lasts longer, looks great. QuarterArcade has some good LED bulbs.
10
G GlowGetters 2 weeks ago
Definitely LED. Easier to install too.

B BrightLights 2 weeks ago
Are the colors accurate with LED?

Traditional fluorescent if you're going for an authentic look, but they're a pain sometimes.

I like the warmth of fluorescent.

Hey, wondering if QuarterArcade parts are usually new or refurbished? Looking to get some new buttons for a MAME cabinet.

S Sam Doyle 3 months ago
From what I've seen, most of their parts are new. They do specify if something is used or a reproduction, especially with the manuals or some of the older PCBs.

T Todd N. 3 months ago
yeah, they mostly sell new stuff. I bought a control panel overlay from them last year and it was brand new in packaging.
